Project Engineer for Power Transmission

I joined ERIKS in 2010 bringing with me 25 years of engineering maintenance and site service experience.

I started off in the electronics repair workshops moving across to Power Transmission in 2016 to bring my unique skillset into the projects team. 

Since joining the team I have been a key member in the development of the e-Connect range of products and services using industrial-internet-of-things (IIOT) technology and cloud based monitoring. This has been a really interesting challenge for me as it has allowed me to develop cutting-edge technology for the benefit of our customers enabling them to get one step closer to wielding a 'smart factory'. 

Recently I moved into the Centre of Expertise in Pensnett where we are developing a SMART building with the assistance of our Dutch colleagues. This will not only allow us to tap into the benefits of smart technology ourselves but have a working example we can show customers as an interactive case study they can see working!

In my spare time I travel the world with my wonderful wife and children exploring new cultures and experiences. Of course, as you can already tell technology is a true passion for me, so if I'm not in another country I am investigating new technologies and exploring ways to harness the latest cutting-edge developments.
