I joined WYKO in January of 2000, the dawn of a new millennium and a completely new start for me after spending 2 years backpacking through South East Asia and Australia.
With a background in quality control and Hydraulic components I joined the Transline division as a trainee technical support engineer for gearboxes, motors and drives which were new products for me at the time.
Following the merger of Fenner Power Transmission (FPT) and the acquisition of WYKO Group by ERIKS I took a lead role in the technical support team and progressed to become Product Manager for Gearboxes, Motors and Electronic Controls.
With the creation of the Product Business Unit structure I widened my area of responsibility as Business Unit Manager and now as General Manager I lead the Power Transmission Technology Centre encompassing both open and closed drives along with direct responsibility for ERIKS specialist Gearbox and Electronic service centres in Dudley and Aintree.
